Jasper Klopper has been a lawyer since 2012. He advises and litigates on the entire spectrum of IP law with a focus on copyright law, (authors’) contract law, trade mark and design law, privacy and proceedings concerning unlawful press publications. He has particular knowledge of the music industry and the drafting and review of commercial contracts. Jasper studied in Amsterdam and obtained his master’s degree in Information Law at the University of Amsterdam (IvIR). Furthermore, Jasper completed the Grotius specialisation course National and International Contracting cum laude. Before joining Visser Schaap & Kreijger, Jasper worked at Stibbe and Allen & Overy, among others.
In WTR1000, Jasper is referred to as a “dynamic and capable attorney”.
Jasper is a member of the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI), the Benelux Association for Trademark and Design Law (BMM), the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the European Communities Trademark Association (ECTA) and several Dutch Associations.
Jasper has registered the area of law “Intellectual Property” in the register of areas of law of the Dutch Bar Association. Pursuant to this registration, he is obliged to obtain ten training points in this area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
